The terms and conditions of use contained herein on this page, shall govern your use of this website [www.newhopeofchester.com] and any affiliate websites owned and operated for the use of ministry by New Hope Christian Fellowship (NHCF).

The NHCF website began with a vision to design an access point for information about our church and to have a way for its members to connect online.

Our terms of use is simple. Honor the Lord in everything you do and say, which includes any online activity. Please refrain from any language that is displeasing to God on our website, forms, etc. Your first offense will be a verbal warning with the content deleted by the webmaster. Our pastor will address the second offense or any thereafter with the content deleted by the webmaster.

If you have any objections or are unable to comply with our terms and conditions of use, please refrain from using our website.

Our Privacy Commitment
New Hope Christian Fellowship (NHCF) is committed to protecting the privacy of its members. The personal information you share with NHCF will be used to support the delivery of online services, and ministry needs offered by NHCF. We protect the personal information and adhere to all legislative requirements with respect to protecting privacy.

Gathering Personal Information
Personal information is any information that identifies you as an individual. NHCF collects personal information for a variety of purposes, such as:

  • Church website membership registration
  • Church directories
  • Counseling/prayer support and praise reporting
  • Church administration (tithing, offerings, payments owing, etc.)

Ensuring Privacy Protections
We collect, use, and disclose personal information only for the purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate for the administration and management of a church organization. Access to your personal information is on a need-to-know basis. We inform our church personnel and volunteers of the importance of protecting your personal information. We will also advise all church volunteers that personal information obtained during their service cannot be used for any purposes other than authorized church ministry approved by our pastor.

We will maintain adequate physical, procedural and electronic security with respect to offices and information storage facilities (e.g. filing cabinets) so as to protect personal information against such risks as unauthorized access, use, disclosure or destruction.

Tithing & Offering Information
Online Giving will be coming soon. Access to information regarding your tithes and offerings to NHCF is restricted to:

  • The church volunteers who collect and count the offerings
  • The church member who processes your income tax receipts and/or handles the records
  • The treasurer who signs the offering tax receipts

You have the right to request access to information about your tithes and offerings. However, you do not have the right to access tithing/offering information to other identifiable NHCF members without their written consent. You may access aggregate tithing/offering information not linked to an identifiable member. All requests for access must be submitted, in writing, through the pastor.

Prayer Requests & Praise Reporting
We encourage our members to share their prayer requests and praises so that we, as a church, may pray and rejoice together. We recognize some of the requests are sensitive and very personal. We will ensure that the personal information contained in our prayer request list be limited only to the amount necessary.

The NHCF Website
We will carefully review the purpose and need before posting personal information on our church website. If personal information is posted, we will limit the amount of personal information to that which is necessary. The only exception to this policy is the information that you post in the restricted online community.
